Free food at Panera
Today, April 16, Panera Bread will give away cups of its new light and dark roast coffees as well as samples of grilled breakfast sandwiches and strawberry granola parfaits as part of a special event to promote the restaurant’s new coffee lines.
It’s all free, but Panera hopes customers will donate $1 to its Operation Dough Nation program. For every dollar a customer donates, local Panera Breads will match it, up to $250 per location. Dayton donations will support the Children’s Hunger Alliance.
“We invite local communities to join us in experiencing our new coffee and breakfast items,” said Jim Hach, operating partner of Breads of the World. “We hope everyone will come in and experience the care and craft that goes into everything Panera does - and help us support our local community.”
Breads of the World LLC, the Panera Bread franchisee in southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky, operates 48 locations.
