Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day!

Today is the 38th annual celebration of the planet we call home, and a day to step back and think about things we can do to preserve and restore our natural resources…

So that’s the official line on Earth Day, but I want to know: what do YOU think about Earth Day?

Is it a time to reflect on accomplishments?

A time to call for more action?

Or something in-between?

Send a post, let us know, then go outside and do something good for the planet.

Port Union bike trail extended

West Chester Twp. is dedicating an extension of a little more than a mile to the bike trail that runs from the Fairfield border into the Port Union area, along the Upper Mill Creek Conservation Corridor. This is part of the Miami to Miami trail project, a chain of multi-use paths designed to connect the Great and Little Miami rivers.

I’ll hopefully have some pictures to share later today, but until then, let me know: do you use the Port Union trail? What role do bike trails play in a community, and can they help make it a “greener” place to live?

I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
