Tell Lakota what you think

Kind words can go along way. Did you have a teacher/staff member this year that just amazed you or changed your child’s life?

Lakotaonline launched a space to have students and parents tell them about favorite staff members. People can go online to write about an administrator, cafeteria or media assistant, etc. This is a place to show how much you appreciate them as this year comes to a close.

In other news, The Community Engagement Focus Groups just wrapped up from the five sessions conducted last month. The data from these sessions will be compiled and findings released soon. In addition, the district is preparing to host a field survey of 400 residents to ask questions about the district. The qualitative (focus groups) data and quantitative (phone survey) data are to be looked at as one package to help them identify ways in which they can engage our community. The community relations office will use this information to create the district’s strategic plan for the community relations.
