Trotwood QB Simpson D-II All-Ohio offensive player of the year

Trotwood-Madison senior quarterback Michael Simpson has been chosen the All-Ohio Division II offensive player of the year.

Players were selected based on recommendations of a state media panel. The Associated Press released the teams on Monday. Divisions III and IV will be announced on Tuesday and Divisions V and VI on Wednesday.

Also, Mr. Football will be announced on Wednesday.

The following area football players were selected first team All-Ohio Division II.

• Taylor Decker, Vandalia-Butler, OL.

• Isreal Green, Trotwood-Madison, RB.

• Michael Simpson, Trotwood-Madison, QB.

• Michael McCray, Trotwood-Madison, LB.

• George “Bam” Bradley, Trotwood-Madison, DB.

• Cameron Burrows, Trotwood-Madison, DB.

Offensive player of the year: Simpson.

Area D-II second team: Lawrence Mosley, Trotwood-Madison, OL.

Area D-II special mention: Kevin Richardson, Piqua; Trevon Williams-Brown, Trotwood-Madison.

Area D-I second team:

• Jamall Trammell, Northmont, WR

• Benny McGowan, Centerville, OL.

• Matt Ringle, Beavercreek, K.

• Ifeadi Odenigbo, Centerville, DL.

• Marcus Foster, Troy, DB.

Coldwater football state final ticket info

The following is a release from Coldwater H.S.:

Coldwater will be selling State Championship Football Tickets during the following times:

Parents of Team Personnel (Players, Cheerleaders, Band, Managers)

        Monday, November 28th - (Limit of 10 per family) 

        6:00-6:30 pm Senior Parents 

        6:30-7:00 pm Junior Parents 

        7:00-7:30 pm Sophomore Parents 

        7:30-8:00 pm Freshman Parents & Parents of Managers

Reserved Season Ticket Holders - Tuesday, November 29th from 6:00-8:00 pm (Limit of 4 tickets per each Reserved Season Ticket)

General Public - Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-3:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (Unlimited)

All tickets are reserved seats. All tickets will be sold at the High School, there will be NO tickets at Westown Shell Station due to the reserved seating. Ticket prices are $8.00 for presale and $10.00 at the gate. Coldwater receives a portion of each presale ticket sold ONLY.

Directions and other information will be available when you purchase your tickets. Game time is 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2nd and gates open at 9:30 a.m.
