OK why is Springfield listed as a area School BUT Middletown is NOT? WTF is up with that. Middletown is way closer to Daytopn then Springfiled.. Bias here as no other Dayton team made the play off?? Only thing I can think is the reason.. Middletown is about 30 minutes south of Dayton, Springfield is about 40 mintues..

Hey null jr, just a little update to help your knowledge about the City of Dayton area schools. Two schools that are located IN THE CITY LIMITS, Thurgood Marshall and Chaminade Julienne made the play-offs.

Wondering why Coldwater vs Versailles game at Welcome Stadium. These two teams are 20 minutes a part way north of Dayton (1 to 1 1/2 hours north)

jr: Middletown chooses to play in a league with teams from the Cincinnati area. Shawnee plays in an area league. Also, DDN shares a lot of articles with Springfield News-Sun, so they tend to include Springfield news.

No suburban teams; CJ & TM win; At last, layoffs w/o whiney, rich, parents in the stands who complain about having to travel to the city for games. Go Eagles & Go Cougars, make Dayton proud.

B-Rad, Trotwood has held it down all season. Their attempt to return to the state championship game is what the reporters can write about. I doubt that will happen since teams like Ana and Coldwater seem to get more love from the DDN. GO RAMS!!

This Marshall and Shawnee game should be GOOD! They both run the Double-wing.If you want to keep up with T-M,give it back to them. But you also need Denzel and Crisp!

Shawnee is Big but really slow up front . They have no pass rush and get lazy on D Offense line slow moving and quick to stop playing . The purple crush will roll over them with the one two punch . Big team no athletic big men

Hey purple pride, How did that NO ATHLETIC big men theory work out for ya??? LMAO!! And as for the 1-2 punch, what a joke!! Cougars had a great year, but never had a chance to go deep in the playoffs. Eventually, all of the city league thug teams choke!!!!
