PREGAME: Both teams enter this game at Welcome Stadium 1-0, as Trotwood topped Thurgood-Marshall at home and Dunbar earned a road victory against Valley View last week.
They have played in each of the last two seasons, and Trotwood has won both, 45-0 in 2009 at Welcome Stadium before a much closer 28-21 last season at Trotwood.

Dunbar, maybe you should reconsider scheduling teams that are out of your league.

You may have won the game but your school and staff have no class. The band director should be reprimanded….Better yet fired. WHO HAS THEIR BAND PLAYING DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM? OF COURSE, ARROGANT TROTWOOD. The Athletic Director gave a pitiful apology that was shameful. I have never witnessed anything like that. The referee’s had to tell them several times to stop playing during the game. ATTN: Mr. Shelton, please conduct your band in a respectful way. That was shameful and embarassing. Just shows the arrogance of Trotwood staff and athletics….

Dunbar looked scared. Trotwood was not impressive. They may have scored alot of points but they were sloppy and slow. They will have to get much better as the season goes on to get back to the state. I know it was hot but they looked sluggish and out of sync. QB needs to work on his pass rush. He was throwing balls out of bounds the entire night. Get it together T-Wood so we can run the tables.

That was the most horrible performance I have seen out of dunbar. I feel sorry for their QB he had no chance to throw the ball. That offensive line is a mess. They looked lazy and defeated. The QB was getting killed out there and he has a lot of talent. I mean as soon as he said hike about 5 defenders were in his face. Horrible. Dunbar needs to consider making some changes to that coaching staff.

Trotwood is a realy arrogant bunch. How do you justify spending money to put artifical turf in your football stadium when you are cutting back staff and educational programs to the bare minimum?? My kid is sitting 3 and 4 to a seat on the bus because of budget cuts, and they are spening money on turf. What an outrage. I know where the administration and school boards priorities lie. I know I will be voting NO on the levy in the fall. trotwood learn to live within your means. Then I will vote for your levy.

Trotwood is doing it right. Nmont, Wayne, Cville all losing by playing teams they shouldn’t. The “we’ll get better by playing this schedule” is bunk. You’re 0-2 and may not make the playoffs so how is that helping? Keep going Trotwood and here’s to a 10-0 season.
