Henry 4th in Pan Am Junior Games 400
MIRAMAR, Fla. - Trotwood-Madison High School graduate William Henry (46.80) placed fourth in the 400 meters in Friday’s Pan American Junior track and field championships. Ronell Mance of the United States won (46.13).
Earlier Friday Henry won his 400 prelim (46.90). He also will run in Sunday’s 4x400 relay prelims. That final is Sunday night.
Henry completed his freshman year of running track at Arizona State University last month. He qualified for the Pam Am Junior Games by placing second in the U.S. Junior Outdoor Championships at Eugene, Ore. The meet is for runners ages 16-19.

Alter High School’s boosters are having the 21st Joe Petrocelli Golf Outing at NCR Country Club on the South course, Monday, Aug. 1.
The cost of $180 per golfer includes lunch, dinner, beverages on the course and prizes!
Hurry, foursomes are available but going quickly.

TweetReed new Middletown Christian girls soccer coach
The following is a release from Middletown Christian H.S.:
Middletown Christian has hired Dr. David Reed to be the new varsity girl’s soccer coach for the 2011 season.
Dr. Reed has been at MCS for several years as a coach and part-time teacher. Previously Dr. Reed was the boy’s soccer coach at MCS.
He is also an alumni of MCS and Wilmington College, where he also played soccer.
