Now fans will be able to really see how good Braxton is when Wayne destroys the WEE ELKS. Minton HS Coach of the Year. Ullery HS Goat of the year. Go Warriors continue the winning streak that N’Mont started basically ELKS cannot beat N’Mont or Wayne..

Boltman, how’s the Bolts doing in the postseason this year? Oh that’s right, they didn’t make it. So how is it that you’re bashing other playoff teams. I’m excited about the rematch and I hate Centerville as much as any other Wayne grad. I’m just glad the GWOC is well represented this year.

@N’Mont Boltman That might be the most immature and meaningless post I have ever read.

If you go to the Centerville game don’t sit near the CVlle coaches box. They verbally abuse their players with terrible language. Ullery has no class and gathers those types around him

The first comment on this article either tells me that Northmont fans have absolutely no class at all or there are imposters out there just trying to make them look bad. I doubt that it was a real Northmont fan because most of the words were spelled right.

OK I enjoy all the teams so lets not cut anyone of them down. N’Mont Boltman does have a case as I saw N’Mont beat Centerville now 3 years in a row 2 at their stadium. N’Mont is young and will make their presence known the next 2-3 years. Wayne is due to go all the way now that Braxton is healthy and peaking at right time. Centerville boys play with heart it is their coaching staff that I have always questioned. Wayne will easily beat the Elks. Wayne Grad 96 don’t cut down N’Mont by not making playoffs Wayne was young also years ago and was outside looking in. Wayne and N’Mont are two of my favorite teams and coaching staff along with fans. Centerville is all for show.

Fans of football need to watch the Eaton Eagles this Saturday. Solid defense with a great passing game. Their 11-0 record is no fluke.

Looking forward to a great game Saturday night @ Welcome Stadium. Coach Minton was correct when he said Welcome would be the place to be Saturday. #5 has really turned his and Wayne’s season around. He has matured as the season has progressed, as has the entire team. Go Warriors. Let’s go all the way to canton!!!!

I went to the 1st Wayne/Centerville game and the Springboro/Centerville game and Centerville did not impress me in either one. They are so one dimensional on offense and I feel the DB’s are weak. I think Miller would be able to throw all day against the Elks the 2nd time around.

Some facts for people who think Centerville has a weak offense and needs to pass more… The passing stats in the State Championship game of the last 6 state champions: 2004 - 2/2, 26 yds. 2005 - 2/13, 24 yds. 2006 - 2/4, 19 yds. 2007 - 7/10, 40 yds. 2008 - 12/22, 208 yds. 2009 - 0/2, 0 yds. Average for these 6 years = 53 yds./game Average stats if you take out the unusual 2008 game = 3/6, 22 yds./game Just passing doesn’t win games. Moving the ball does. Pounding out first downs on the ground might not be as exciting as huge passes, but at least in the state championship, it has proven to be effective.

If a team is going to win it’s league, win through the playoff’s, win the State Championship, it will be the team with the best defense. I watched the Kenton/Carlisle game last week. Carlisle called it’s defense the brick wall. The kid from Kenton is the real deal. He dropped back and just chucked the ball over the wall to the tune of 62 points. Players be aware, do not be on facebook talking smack to your opponent before a big game, you might anger that opponent.

Pickerington Central has a very well balanced offense and the #1 defense against the run in central Ohio. And with the warmer weather, should have the advantage over Westerville South and their run-oriented offense. If the weather had been cold and wet, maybe South would have had a better shot. Central has a ton of top end left in their tank that they haven’t had to break out this year…can’t wait to see them shift into their big gear!

Old Coach, you should be ashamed.watch what happens tonight when Maty Mauk and Kenton play against a good team. Clinton Massie will run and run and run… and likely win…anyone who watches HS football knows that Kenton’s style will not produce a championship very often.

Knowerofthings, Massis ran and ran and ran. Kenton passed and passed and passed. Kenton won. Have no idea if they can win state with that offense. Mauck dosen’t do all that stuff by himself. That’s a really good team. Massie hung tuff, but, if you hope to stop Mauck you will have to get in his face the entire game. Congrats to Massie, really super season, shame it had to end. Kenton/Alter next week. It should be a good one.
