Fairmont football job likely to be filled next month

Fairmont hasn’t conducted any formal interviews for its open head football coaching position. But Ad Brian Donoher estimates the job has drawn inquires from “30-35 people,” he said on Friday, April 16.

A five-person search committee will likely name the new coach next month. At least five candidates will be identified from all those interested for the interviews process.

The position opened last month when Brian Blevins resigned following seven season. Blevins said he hopes to land as an assistant coach at Wayne.
