Elda students learn by playing on ‘Math Fridays’

Elda Elementary Students enjoy Math Fridays in David Williams’ and Mandy Brosier’s second grade classes.

Students work through the Everyday Math curriculum and use math games to bring meaning to the concepts learned.

Wilson students participate in Geography Bee

Students at Wilson Middle School participated in the 2010 National Geographic Geography Bee, Dec. 10.

First place was awarded to Skye Meece, above, with second place to Kristen Barnes, third to Chloe Cochran, and fourth to Alexander Sprague.

Skye Meece was awarded a medal and will be taking a test to see if she will be able to participate at the state level competition in March.
