Ross Middle School NJHS students eat for a good cause
On Sunday, Dec. 13, National Junior Honor Society students from Ross Middle School join the Riverview 360 (formerly know as the Revolving Restaurant) in Covington, Ky. in their Sunday Brunch program, “Kids Who Brunch Help a Bunch”.
Students who eat brunch at the restaurant will not only get to experience a unique assortment of foods, but the Radisson will donate the proceeds from the RMS event to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
In order to become a member of National Junior Honor Society students must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or better at Ross Middle School and they must be in the 7th or 8th grade when they apply. Out of 85 applications this year, only 38 students met all of the criteria and were selected by a faculty council of teachers.
Students must also demonstrate elements of service within their community and the school, leadership, school pride, citizenship, and establish academic honors.
