Hamilton student named Yearbook Queen at Oneida Baptist Institute

Kim Withrow of Hamilton was crowned Yearbook Queen of Oneida Baptist Institute on Oct. 10. Kim was escorted by Leighton Bowen.
She is the daughter of Susan Geib of Hamilton, and the granddaughter of Jean and Len Paulini and Tom Geib. Kim also took first place in the pageant’s talent competition by performing a dramatic monologue.
Withrow, a senior, has been a student at OBI for seven years. She has been active in choir, Student Government Association, FFA, Baptist Campus Ministry, yearbook, the farm, cheerleading and tennis.
Oneida Baptist Institute is a boarding school in Oneida, Ky., for students in grades 6-12.

Scenes from Fairwood Elementary’s Character Week

Fairwood Elementary celebrated Character Week the week of October 19-23. Each day the students wore a different color and did many character activities that represented a pillar of character.
