Hamilton High wins ROTC competition, Oct. 17
The Hamilton High NJROTC Unit competed against 15 other JROTC units from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and West Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Northmont High School, according to Capt. Jim Allison.
They competed in Drill, Athletics, Academics and Air Rifle Competitions.
For the Fourth year in a row, Big Blue’s NJROTC Unit won the overall competition.
The Armed and Unarmed Drill Teams commanded by senior Jessie Johnson both came in first place.
The Athletic Team commanded by senior Jorge Flores came in second place.
The team came in third place in personnel inspection, fourth place in academics and fifth place in Color Guard.
