City and County working together
Hamilton City Manager Joshua Smith recently met with Butler County Administrator Bruce Jewett, and other city and county officials to discuss cost- and efficiency-saving measures both the city and county can benefit from.
Jewett said at the Thursday, Nov. 18 meeting the group identified one to two things that can be done in a relatively short amount of time. Those include condensing centralized purchasing, information services and building management.
The group is meeting again in January to move toward action.
