2010 OEFFA Conference

The Ohio Ecological Food & Farm Association will host their 31st annual conference on the 13th & 14th of February, 2010, in Granville, Ohio.

If you’ve never been to an OEFFA conference, and you have serious sustainable farming intentions, then you should seriously consider attending. This conference, “Growing with Integrity, Eating with Intention”, will feature speakers Joel Salatin and Ann Cooper. (And, on the subject of Joel Salatin, Wegerzyn MetroPark will be showing Fresh, the movie, on Monday, Dec. 7 at 5:30 pm. Fresh also features farmer Joel Salatin.)

In the past, OEFFA conferences have included:

  • Dairy Herd Health
  • Specialty Small Grains
  • Gardening for Maximum Nutrition
  • How to Establish a Food Stamp System
  • CSA Planning
  • Organic Certification
  • Diverse trade show with everything from milk to books
  • Marketing to the Restaurant Industry
  • Registration begins in December. And if you do go, let me tell you that lunch is usually delicious & local and there are only a few places to buy lunch in Granville. So either bring your own delicious lunch, or order lunch at the conference with your registration - they never have extra lunches the day of the conference!
