You can drive home
Today’s commute had one accident heading south by Buttermilk Parkway. It was hard to tell, but someone may have hit a deer and then involved one or two other cars.
We saw three cars total, but couldn’t really tell if all three of them were involved directly in the accident. Fortunately for us, it was only a short delay.
I think it will increase the longer the wrecked cars sit there.
We visited Atlanta this past weekend and had a wonderful time. Gas was over $2.50 in the metro Atlanta area. Never buy gas in Tennessee. It is always more expensive.
We moved here seven years ago to get closer to our family. I’d go back under the right circumstances. So would my wife and family. It was great to see our old friends. We hadn’t been there in four years. So many new kids that we had never seen! One couple had named their daughter the same as we did, only they reversed the two names!
So many of the places that we used to visit were closed. Our favorite pizza places—gone. The Galleria Mall was a ghost town. It was at times stunning to see the changes.
Have any of you went ‘home’ to visit and found things so different that you hardly recognized where you were?
