JEAN KEARNS, Miamisburg: “Probably so, just to get out during the winter. I go a couple of times a week. I like Bob Evans. It’s close to home.”

CHAREE STEWART

CHAREE STEWART, Centerville: “Probably not. I just don’t dine out very much. I prefer to cook my own food. I got out to eat only once every month or every couple of months.”

ANITA DAHM

ANITA DAHM, Miami Twp.: “Less right now, because we have something every weekend with the holidays coming up. But after that, we’ll probably go at least twice a month. We like Jag’s near Mason.”

RACHEL CHILDERS

RACHEL CHILDERS, Xenia: “We go out quite a lot now, and I don’t think that’s going to change. My favorite is Red Robin in Beavercreek.”

SCOTT OSBORNE

SCOTT OSBORNE, Middletown: “I don’t think it’ll really change. We probably go one or two days of the week, usually on Sundays. The place where I could eat all the time would probably be Chipotle.”

No, there are not good resturants in the Dayton area. All the resturants use way too much salt. I can’t name a resturant that can cook better food than I get at home.

dayton is not a “dining destination”…it may appeal to locals who dont know any better….but the dining scence here is strictly “hillbilly cuisine”

nyc: go back. We won’t miss you. Some of us travel and do know what is available to eat in other areas. That doesn’t mean we think we are better than others who live here. Some of us choose to bloom where we are transplanted. There are some very good restaurants here. I suspect, however, that you have a problem with your attitude and haven’t bothered to seek those places out. BTW, learn to spell or proofread.

sorry laura..didnt mean to hurt your feelings….since you addressed your comment to me…sorry if i mispelled something..and if it makes you feel better….dayton is a dining destination…i forgot about denny’s and mcdonalds….dont you give them a five star rating????…you have been accustomed to mediocrity…that is why you think dayton is a dining destination…and the hillbilly cuisine is sought after by everyone…dayton is a gigantic truck stop..if you didnt know it…you stop for gas…and a burger and leave ASAP
