How much does Time Warner’s dispute about 2 local stations bother you?
Time Warner Cable will drop two Dayton stations — Fox 45 and ABC 22 — if contract negotiations aren’t settled by the end of the year. Does that bother you?
ORTHA HAYNES, Vandalia: “Yes, it does. I watch those channels, and I don’t want them to take them off. I was thinking about calling Time-Warner and letting them know I’m not happy with that.”
TIFFANI CHAMPION, Dayton: “It won’t bother me. You can turn the cable off and still get those stations. But some people don’t have the antennas and converter boxes to do that.”
RICHARD MLYNAREK, Troy: “It upsets me, because I like to watch both of them. But it’s good that the stations are letting us know about it, even if it’s one-sided.”
KEN MCNERNEY, Washington Twp.: “I don’t watch much network TV, other than the news. From a news standpoint, yes.”
ASHLEIGH KINCAID, West Carrollton: “It bothers me that they can’t compromise, but I don’t have Time-Warner Cable, so it doesn’t personally affect me.”
PATRICIA MCNERNEY, Washington Twp.: “I almost think it’s a disservice to the customers if they don’t carry the local news.”
