BONNIE SLIVER, Beavercreek: “I’d do it in a heartbeat. Maybe I’d miss some of the people interaction. But you wouldn’t have to dress a certain way, and there’s less time involved with commuting, so you could be that much more efficient.”

I would do that without hesitation. I sit in front of a computer at work all day which I can do just as easily at home. Telephones and e-mail can take care of most of the people interaction that I do.

Been there - done that. It has advantages and disadvantages. Its great to have no commute - you save time and $$ in commutes, allows for greater flexibility and can be more efficient. I say can be because if you have kids or others at home, etc at home concentration can become difficult as personal and business life conflict. Also, you never leave work. Depending on your personality, many find themselves working at times they normally wouldn’t just because its there. I even knew one person that hung an office closed sign on their door. Anyway, I think its dependent on job expectations, personal circumstances and personality as to how well it works. It worked for me - I thought it was great!
