Can you believe Bugs Bunny turns 70 this year? What was your favorite cartoon character when you were a kid?
KELLI BRANHAM, West Carrollton: “I loved the Smurfs, but probably my favorite character was Scooby Doo.”
BOBBY CARDWELL, Dayton: “It was Bugs Bunny. He was goofy, and he kept you laughing.”
CINDY NEAL, Phillipsburg: “We never had a TV when I was at home. I didn’t have one till after I got married. But we could watch TV at the neighbor’s house. We watched Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzalez and Tweety — all of them.”
ZOE BOUKALIK, Washington Twp.: “I really liked Porky Pig. And I liked Tom and Jerry, too.”
ZACK ORTH, Miamisburg: “I’d have to say Bugs Bunny. He got into it with Yosemite Sam all the time, and that was funny.”
