Are you rooting for Chad Ochocinco on “Dancing With the Stars”?
HEIDI PATRICK, Middletown: “Yes, because my husband likes football, and he’s watching it. He’s never watched ‘DWTS’ before, but he is now because Chad’s on it. He’s not a bad dancer, really, and I hope he wins. But I don’t think he will.”
MARIO JACKSON, Trotwood: “I like the Bengals, but I haven’t watched ‘DWTS.’ I follow Chad on Twitter. He’s entertaining, but I just don’t like the dancing shows.”
EMILY RIDOLFI, Fairborn: “Yes, because he’s from Cincinnati, and I like his partner, Cheryl. I don’t think they can win, though. I think the winner will be Nicole Scherzinger.”
JANE HORN, Springfield: “Yes, but I’m not rooting for him. The ones I liked are gone — Kate (Gosselin) and Niecy (Nash). I kind of like the skater (Evan Lysacek).”
JULIE ALLBAUGH, Springfield: “I really like the gentleman who was an ice skater (Evan Lysacek). He had a really great performance a couple of weeks ago, following a week where they’d given him the worst ratings.”
NICK COLLINS, Cincinnati: “I don’t watch it at all. I’d root for Chad, probably, just because I’m from Cincinnati. But that’s not really my type of show.”

Why would I want to vote for that big mouthed pansy? He can’t even pronounce the number 85 in Spanish (Ochenta y cinco) and calls himself 8 and 5 (Ocho Cinco). He might win something at dancing (doubtful), but he’ll fall on his butt in intelligence.

I am rooting for Chad. I love the fact he is from Cincy! I think we need to cheer our state people on. I hope he makes it into the final. I really like his partner too! I think he is becoming a good dancer. We don’t know how hard they have to work on the show. I am proud of him!! GO CHAD!!!!!

Bear…who cares? It is only a play on numbers and I don’t think it has anything to do with intelligence. He is very entertaining. I don’t believe he will win DWTS, but he looks like he had a really great time. That would be the most important thing.

He calls himself 8,5 not 85. That’s why his name is Ocho cinco. Just sounds like another reason to complain. He’s also very intelligent, he’s marketing himself into more than just a football player. That’s brains if you ask me.

No. Chad winning = more ego and less time focused on his real job, which is to help our bengals win. I say save the extra-cirriculars for after retirement.

I think it’s amazing that these big muscle bound men can learn to control their feet and keep up with the beat … Chad has done well with the dancing but needs to control his mouth. Doubt he’ll be a contender in the finals.

Chad is an egomanic who deserves to lose. Too bad that hottie partner of his got stuck with such an a-hole

I like 85. He is controversial only in a good way (no drugs, alcohol or sex addictions), and I am glad he is doing something physical in his offtime. BUT, if this does not translate into good football in August, I will be ticked!
