Are homes selling in your neighborhood?
Have you noticed home sales perking up at all in your neighborhood?
JEFF GLASGOW, Huber Heights: “The same houses have been for sale for the past year. One just sold, but one out on the main drag has probably been for sale for a least two years.”
VICKY BAILEY, Xenia: “Some houses have been for sale for a year. A house next door was for sale for a year, and now it’s for rent.”
DEBRA GREGG, Dayton: “There are a lot of houses for sale. A few have sold, but not very many.”
DENISE FINNEY, Springfield: “In my neighborhood, it’s the same houses that have been for sale for some time, as well as all the ones around me that are foreclosed. I haven’t seen any improvement.”
CAROL RIDGEWAY, Leesburg: “I’m from Highland County, close to where Airborne Express went out about a year ago. The housing market is pretty stagnant. We have one of the highest percentages of people out of work in Ohio.”
