An insurance company has stopped benefits for a woman on long-term disability for depression because her Facebook photos showed her having fun. Is this going too far?

Well, well, Big Brother has finally gone too far. I suffer from depression and many people cannot tell unless I announce it. Society dictates we put on a happy face.

Not only Insurance companies doing it but our Emplorers our digging into our private lives, what we post should not be looked into by companies to void our jobs,policys etc.. They need to be sued for invasion of privacy, that would stop it

Insurance company hasn’t gone too far. The claim has. Long term disability payments for depression? Give me a break I don’t want my premiums paying for that nonsense.

Shell be "depressed" as long as someone is paying her to be, Simple as that.Everyone gets depressed,But I dont think someone should make a living off of it.I have an aunt that plays all these”I cant`t work because” games.Shes lived off this for 40 . This lady got busted, End of story.
