To Paul Grubich: If Pittsburgh is a better team, then we would not have beat them twice already. Cinci would have to lose 2 more games than Pitt the remainder of the way to give Pitt a shot. I really don’t see that happening. Pitt just better hope that #43 is not out too long or they will have a tough time making the playoffs.

was at the first ex game vs KC back in the day. so bengal fan forever.. I think they can win it..but Pitt is only going to lose maybe one more vs balt. we got 4 road games 3 of which are very tough places to win…so as always..I’m worried!

In reference to Grubich’s comment - this is clear evidence that drinking 20 Budweisers a day seriously affects your cognative thinking.

Att: Paul Grubich, from teabggerville - do you even understand how football is played? Can you read the final scores? Your team got beat - TWICE. Lay off the beers, no brain cells left.

Paul Grubich has apparently just had some major brain surgery or something because the parts of his brain that handle logic and mathematics are not functioning like they should. Hey Paul, if the Bengals finish undefeated in their division and the Steelers finish with 2 losses in their division they mathematically cannot win the division.

Jared, I’ve been a Bengals fan since their inception, and hope they win, but your logic is flawed. This is not the Big Ten. Overall record is the first consideration. If our overall record ties PIT then we win, but if they win more games than us they win the division. PIT has an even easier schedule finishing out than we have. We still have to play at MIN at Jets and at SD.

Hey Tim, division record is the first consideration. Division champs automatically go to the playoffs with home field advantage.
