PETA scraps neuter Tiger Woods billboard, going after Mark Sanford

Here’s good news for PETA and bad news for wives: there are plenty of cheating dogs to mock while promoting animal spaying and neutering.

Lawyers for golfing great Tiger Woods ‘kindly’ threatened to sue the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals if the activist group proceeded with hilarious plans to erect billboard mocking Woods reading “Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing … For Little Tigers Too. Help Keep Your Cats (and Dogs) Out of Trouble: Always Spay or Neuter!”

Perhaps shaken and stirred, PETA will now put up a billboard featuring that South Carolina’s governor of lust Mark Sanford as part of its “cheeky spay-and-neuter” campaign.

According to the New York Post, the tagline will read “Your dog doesn’t have to go to South America to get laid.”

PETA’s ad campaign aims to reduce the number of cats and dogs from being euthanized at shelters each year, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

Every time I think that PETA is as stupid as they can be, they manage to set another milestone in stupidity.

I read about the Tiger billboard in the Orlando paper online and I wrote PETA and told them I thought it was in bad taste. I got this very nice email back saying they create shocking campaigns because animal abuse it shocking. I told the lady - Karen Dickerson - I agreed that animal abuse was shocking but I felt it in bad taste to use Tiger Woods’ situation and to humiliate his family even more to advance their agenda. It seems they just moved on to another target. I absolutely believe what these men did was wrong, but I do not believe they should be used in a PETA campaign. I don’t blame Tiger’s people and I wouldn’t blame Gov. Sanford’s people either if they went after them.

I absolutely agree, Kathy. PETA needs to be ETHICAL itself. Putting people to even more shame for their own way & advancement is not only TACKY & TASTELESS, but very unprofessional. I’m more of a friend to the ASPCA & this is why.

PETA needs to be shut down. They are always looking for to be in the news so they can get money. I find this very tackey, tasteless and cold hearted.
