How much advance notice would you like on events?
I’m in the midst of planning a big centerpiece for our LIFE section previewing the plethora of holiday events coming up. It seems like most everything starts around Nov. 19.
However, I was debating running the preview on Nov. 12, a week earlier. I’ve heard readers say many times over the years that they like to plan well in advance.
On the other hand, most of the events that would be previewed stretch throughout the holiday season.
So as readers, which would you find more helpful? A preview on Nov. 12, a week before everything starts, or on Nov. 19, which is the weekend everything starts?

I constantly see things in the paper that I would have been interested in, but I read that they JUST took place. So, I would like a a week or so notification on upcoming events and activities.
