Nothing to do? What does THAT mean?

It’s a phrase you hear all the time, especially around here.

“There’s nothing to do.” Sometimes people are so frustrated the NOTHING is stressed.

And I can only sit back and think “Oh really?”

But then, as the arts and entertainment reporter for the Butler and Warren County newspapers, it’s my job to give the lie to the idea that there’s “nothing to do” around here. All you’ve got to do is click on our entertainment page. You can also check handy sites like this one at the Butler County Visitors Bureau, or this one for Warren County.

And yet the phrase persists. “There’s nothing to do.” For those of you who believe that, what do you mean? If you can’t find anything to do around here, what exactly is it that you’re trying to find?

Haha, like it easy? For some, how about getting off the couch or computer and make yourself useful. Use your head and be creatives and if that doesn’t do it then you need help. Clean the streets, be a volunteer, or work in Humane pets center. i love it.
