Dynus has come to an end — for the most part

With Kay Rogers now being sentenced, it was the last piece — the largest piece — in the Dynus scandal that rocked Butler County several years ago.

It took so long to be sentenced following her December 2007 guilty plea because she was helping the FBI in other related investigations.

The official count: 2 years in prison, 5 years probation and must pay her portion of $4 million in restitution, the amount Rogers signed for on Dec. 31, 2004, so Dynus could secure a loan with National City Bank.

The deal ultimately resulted in more than $10 million in elicit loans from National City and Fifth Third banks.

Rogers’ reporting date will be the last official piece of business in this case, which will be set by the Bureau of Prisons, said her attorney Konrad Kircher. That date will fall between 30 to 90 days from Tuesday’s sentencing hearing.

While the Dynus scandal is all but wrapped up, the fiber optics issue has one piece left — Mike Fox. Fox’s sentencing hearing has yet to be set, but his plea agreement for his involvement in NORMAP, the company that built the fiber optics system, indicates he agreed to four years in prison.

It’s about time. I always wondered why we would see her sitting around in local bars. She apparently had a nice break between work and prison. Most folks go to jail close to the time of the crime.

Sitting around in bars while her needy children languished? Good riddance to bad rubbish.Hopefully all of her GOP faithful won’t forget to write her while she’s away.

Hope she can find time to have a couple pictures taken with Rick Jones for his campaign literature next year before she goes up the river.

Taking everything into consideration I have seen, heard and read over the years, Kay Rogers should be a free woman. Kay Rogers = scapegoat.

Will you sensor my comment again if I mention Trustee candidate George Lang again? Or can you do some kind of investigative thing and ask FBI agent Gromley if there is NO more possible indictments?? After all, Kay Rogers backdoored us, now didn’t she? EDITOR’S NOTE: U.S. Assistant Attorney Jennifer Barry said, which was reported in Wednesday’s JournalNews and Middletown Journal, “I think it’s safe to say this investigation is concluded.”

Kay Rogers was not the nice person people are saying. She was a bully. She was extremely arrogant. And her so-called friends live in an echo chamber of mutually deceptive perceptions. Trust them for what they are.

“Learn, Baby” asked a question. Editor replied with what an asst. prosecutor said about “this” investigation. Which investigation? Yes, you can read. You just can’t think. Make the call. Gormley: 421-4310. (pow, this is why illegals will take over Cox Publishing jobs.) (Shut down all journalism schools so these jobs will be in demand!)

Voters elected big ego with little character, ignoring the obvious. We need to be more alert, better informed, and see through media manipulators.

pow- That somebody you reference should be good ol’ Sher’f Jones. The problem is, he doesn’t go after the owners of businesses who create these problem. Jones’ solution is to hit the media and make needless trips to AZ with his racebaiting buddy Courtney Combs. Together they have done little if anything about the root of the problem…but they both sure talk a good game.

So if Mikey Boy and Lovely Kay owe this money has their PERS retirement been seized or are they continuing to get that hard earned money. If I were a drug dealer you better believe my asssets would be seized.

“elicit” should be “illicit” Illicit: disapproved of or not permitted for moral or ethical reasons. Elicit: to draw forth or bring out (something latent or potential).
