Are you Michigan fans serious? The Ohio State University Football team has had its problems this season, but nothing like that team from up north! That team from up north is a long way off from being competitive in the Big Ten again. Get rid of your coach, hire one who understands Big Ten football, then come back and chat with us…

It’s definately been a disturbing season as a fan who was born, bred, bled, & fled from Michigan after surprisingly winning their first 4 games and now struggling at 500, except we all know that OSU can be beat and I look for Michigan to show up for this game. Not to take anything away from Tressel, except a win would show that there is life in Ann Arbor and the Big Ten football program will continue to be represented & respected highly in the NCAA.

AmazinglyBlue, I like what you said, Both teams are down a little. The programs have high expectations year after year. This years game will be no different. Both teams will show up to play and represent the best rivalry around. Good Luck!!!

The Buckeyes will roll on to the rose bowl…42 to 14. 8 sacks, 250 yards rushing.

Pud, Steve’s prediction isn’t that far off base. Look at last year’s game and the score at which that one ended. Michigan is not much better than they were last year. They have benefited from some fortuitous endings this year early in the season, but this team is a bad team. I don’t expect Ohio State to score as much as 42 points in this game; however, I don’t expect Michign to score more than 14 either. If you look at the history of this rivalry, you will see that decisive wins do occur, each year doesn’t end up being a “great game”. Maybe you should cease making comments as well until you know what you are talking about.

I’m a UM fan and have been for 30 years. I’m not going to go into who’s better and who’s not…the game decides that every year. What I’d like to say is that both UM and OSU (On the national stage)need to be better. This is the greatest rivalry in all of sports and for it to stay that way and continue to be televised nationally, which helps both UM and OSU in recruiting, both teams need to be better. It needs to be OSU and UM finishing 1st or 2nd every year. The game needs to decide the Big Ten and have BCS implications each and every year. If it doesn’t…the storied rivalry will fade and that is sad for both sides. I hope that day never comes.

Don’t group Ohio State’s problems on a national level to those of Michigan on a conference level. If the Ohio State/Michigan game were to ever lose its billing as a nationally televised game, it has everything to do with Michigan’s failure to be competitive. Ohio State does finish 1st or 2nd each year in the Big Ten and they play in a BCS bowl game each year. I have zero doubt that Michigan will again return to a place among the Nation’s elite football programs, but they are the reason why this rivalry is not as highly spoken of as in years past…not Ohio State.

i love ohio state. i always have. but this year i feel sorry for michigan. For most of this rivalry this game has decided the big ten champion. It just doesnt seem right for michigan to be terrible. and thats out of the mouth of an ohio state fan. My best friend is a michigan fan. we couldn’t even make our normal bet because they are so bad he knows he will lose. when michigan is good again will be when i get excited for this game. because this game will be a blowout. You know what, take all the record and stat books and throw them out… they mean NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA… When it comes to this game. ALL TEAMS, that have been around for awhile will have their up and down years. But this game tommorrow , records just don’t matter. Hell I was born in Michigan, but have been a Buckeye fan for over 50 years, The Wolverines could come in at 0-11 allowing 500 yards and 50 points a game.. and I still wouldn’t bet on this game. It’s just “THE GAME” What more do you need.
