Buckeyes picked to win Big Ten

College football season is here. The Big Ten is holding its media days in Chicago today and Tuesday and the first round of preseason awards are in. The media members attending vote. For starters:

• Ohio State is the pick to win its fifth straight Big Ten title. Penn State was tabbed to finish second. The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions both finished 7-1 in conference play last year. Michigan State is pick for third.

That’s as much as they release, probably so Indiana doesn’t feel bad about being picked last every year. I always thought that was odd; they don’t worry about hurting people’s feelings in the Southeastern Conference.

• OSU quarterback Terrelle Pryor is the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.

• Michigan State linebacker Greg Jones is the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. The Spartans return eight starters on defense.

Indiana will be the first Big Ten season in action this year when the Hoosiers host Eastern Kentucky on Thursday, Sept. 3. The conference’s other 10 teams kick off on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Actually ‘goblue’ Pryor has worked in the off season on his throwing ability. Michigan fans are just jealous because he did not pick that school up North. GO BUCKS and of Course beat that team up north AGAIN this year.

the buckeyes lost too much on defense… and even if pryor did learn to throw in the offseason, who will he throw to?… their receivers are bums…. I like penn state but don’t forget about illinois… not a bad schedule and juice williams and that receiver benn are both seniors… i can’t wait for that first loss for the overrated buckeyes… it is as if you can hear a pin drop in the entire state

So here it is not even August and the SUCKEYES are picked to win all the marbles. Tressel has brought the SUCKEYES to the big dance for the past 3 years but the team lost every game…and the funny thing is Michigan beat 2 of the teams the following seasons in post season games. M GO BLUE ALL THE WAY.

It’s amazing , Sophomore Terrelle Pryor picked as preseason POY in the Big 10 . Of course , he holds all the records in the State of Pennsylvania where Joe Montana , Joe Naimath , Joe Theisman , Jim Kelly and Dan Marino have all played .. Go Buckeyes !

pryor may be the leading rusher at osu, They have a week running game. sain as been terrible. they will upset usc, but penn state wins out rite this year. i love the bucks, but unless they have a surprise as a receiver , they lack in offense. And on defense, if your relying on spitler they have issues 6th is to high, throw the bomb, hope like hell a red jersey comes down with it.
