If you have the Big Ten Network on your cable/satellite system, Friday is a big day for Buckeyes fans. This press release dropped in my inbox today:
Big Ten Network Celebrates Ohio State Day on July 17 Network to highlight Buckeye programming
CHICAGO - Buckeyes across the nation can catch the Big Ten Network’s celebration of Ohio State athletics on July 17.
Many Ohio State teams were successful during the 2008-09 season. The men’s tennis team won its fourth-straight Big Ten Championship by beating Illinois, and the match will air at 1 PM ET. The women’s basketball team also won the conference title, beating Purdue in a close game, which airs at 4 PM ET. The football team’s three-point victory over Wisconsin will air at 7 PM ET.
Special programming will highlight other aspects of campus life and the history of Buckeye athletics, including Big Ten Legends: Archie Griffin at 3 PM ET, Eye on Alumni at 3:30 PM ET and Conversations with Dave Revsine: Jerry Lucas at 6:30 PM ET.
The day of Ohio State programming is the second of three days dedicated to Buckeyes athletics and campus programming that will air this summer. Each university will have three days of dedicated programming on the network during the next two months.

It’s nice to read something on this low budget web site about a major program like OSU. I’m fed up with the rah-rah UD bullcrap. Why the hell does the DDN have to promote a low/mid-major program like UD which has only won one NCAA game in the past 25 years?By Doug

Direct TV doesnt have the Big Ten network anymore. They should show the SEC network, maybe OSU will learn how to win against BIG TEAMS instead of that Little Ten Conference
