OSU’s Boeckman will try out with Bengals
If you’re wondering about Ohio State Buckeyes who didn’t get their names called in the NFL Draft, here is the latest from OSU’s sports information department:
Alex Boone — Signed free-agent deal with 49ers
A.J. Trapasso — Signed free-agent deal with Titans
Todd Boeckman — The St. Henry grad has a tryout with the Bengals on Saturday
Rory Nicol — Has a tryout with the Redskins on Saturday
Brandon Smith — Going to Bears minicamp this weekend on tryout basis
Ben Person — Has a tryout with the Lions on Thursday
Steve Rehring — He’ll try out with the Bengals
Nader Abdallah — He’ll try out with the Jaguars this weekend

Ben Person is from Xenia which is closer than St. Henry. And he has a better chance of makin’ it because the Lions are just a little worse than the Cheap Azz Bengals.By BOB

I like how the Bengals are cheap for not offering every Buckeye a free agent contract. OSU guys have produced for Cincy so much over the years.By Stone

OSU players, much like the team, are vastly overrated. Anyone hear anything about OSU stars lately beside AJ Hawk maybe? Ted Ginn? Please. And any OSU quarterbacks? Nope! Why waste time trying to cut them a deal just because they are OSU exs?By RE: Stone

did you happen to watch the last Super Bowl when former Buckeye Santonio Holmes made the game winning catch? And did you by chance see the year he had?? OSU being overrated? look at all the other schools players come from! not everyone from every place works out. who cares, OSU is just one place… get over it.By Brad

Hey ..Todd Boeckman signed with the Jacksonville Jaquars … Yep ,Chris Beanie Wells drafted in the 1st round is with the Arizona Cardinals … Should help Kurt make the Super Bowl once gain .. Go Cardinals
