Holocaustic humor…

There’s nothing funny about the Holocaust, right? I never thought so. Then I read the new book by Shalom Auslander. “Hope: a Tragedy” (Riverhead Books) is his first novel. The Holocaust is a central theme of the book. And this book is funny.

It begins when the narrator finds Anne Frank is living in his attic. She’s now a woman in her eighties.
