My interview with Geraldine Brooks…
Geraldine Brooks recently published her latest historical novel “Caleb’s Crossing” (Viking). It is based on a true story about a Native American who graduated from Harvard College during the 17th century.
I interviewed Geraldine Brooks on my radio show on WYSO. We covered a lot of ground in the interview including her inspiration for this novel, her background as a foreign correspondent reporting from war zones, and how one character in this book was inspired in part by the Taliban.

I’m looking foward to your conversation with Geraldine Brooks. These kind of stories are always inspiring no matter what type of literature one enjoys. These interviews must be the most rewarding part of your job.
