“Recipes for Entertaining”
Checking the hourly book sales over at Amazon.com on this Black Friday and I see that the most downloaded electronic book this hour for the Amazon Kindle wireless reading device is a book called: “Not Your Mother’s Slow Cooker-Recipes for Entertaining.”
That book has soared to #1 because they are giving it away. You can download it to your Kindle for free. That’s the catch, you have to have an Amazon Kindle OR you can download free Kindle software to your PC.
Amazon had a promotion on their website yesterday that asserted that the Kindle is their best selling item. Since they won’t release exact sales figures no one can dispute their claim. But I have my doubts that it is really selling more units than the memoir by Sarah Palin for instance. Or those loveable toy hamsters. What do they call those little guys? Zhou Zhous?
