Fleeced by Dick Morris

51RmOnAh4UL._SL500_AA240_.jpg

Stop the presses! Dick Morris, the former friend and confidante of Bill Clinton has a new book. It came out this week. It’s called Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, And Washington Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us … and What to Do About It. It is already an instant #1 bestseller on Amazon.com.

Doesn’t it sound interesting? Don’t you really want to read it? I’ll pass. The title says it all. Call it truth in advertising - I’m willing to bet that is exactly how you’ll feel after you finish reading it: fleeced, by none other that Dick Morris.

Ka-ching! Ka-ching! That’s the sound of Dick Morris laughing all the way to the bank. Check your checkbooks.

Did you feel that slight bump? Feel for your wallets. They might be a bit lighter after this “author” gets done with you.

Ka-ching! The fleecing has begun…

Read it. Did some fact checking. I haven’t found any false claims yet. Most of what he said is plain common sense. Everybody is out to get theirs, screw everyone else (country, constitution, etc). My only compliant is he broad brushed the GOP complicity and active participation. Almost everyone in DC is dirty, not just the Democrats. As for the author, the greatest crime Dick Morris has committed is daring to speak out about the Clintons. (Heaven Forbid!!) Since then he’s been vilified by the left at every turn.

My, my, what nasty words about Dick Morris. In my view, if you do not like the guy don’t buy his book and be done with it.

First one must read the book, then critique it. No, not for the liberal cognescenti. Troubling.

Actually, I’ve never met a book reviewer more conscientious about reading the entire book than Vick is. But Dick Morris has such an incredibly well documented history of being a liar and charlatan, it beggars the imagination to figure out why anyone should care what Morris writes. No one at Fox News respects Morris: he’s a lying clown who gets air time simply because he understands his role at Fox is to trash talk Democrats. The dude is a useful tool for the right, nothing more. And yes, I’ve read quite a bit of what Dick Morris has written, and it’s all self-justifying crap from a paid liar.

Sorry, Kathleen but you seem a liitle touchy and defensive about this con man, Morris. Are you related, or just clutching a fond memory of a past campaign where you thought you were one of his chosen “good guys”? The antidote to the kool-aid is full disclosure. Get over it.

I found the book to be enlightening. I am a democrat but I have misgivings about voting for this man.

Whoops. I thought it was a book review site. Legitimate book reviewers are usually able to get comp’d copies.

Gosh, I wonder if my local library would have a copy? I certainly would not want to pay for one!

Here’s an idea: why don’t you actually review the book instead of making ‘liberal media bias’ assumptions about it first?

This guy is so discredited he could give the damn book away and I’d pass. We all know what he is, now we know what he charges.
