Bengals-Ravens game a sellout
Sunday’s Cincinnati Bengals’ home game against the Baltimore Ravens is a sellout, the Bengals ticket office announced today.
The game at 4:15 p.m. will be televised in the Bengals home market on CBS affiliates WKRC-TV (Channel 12) in Cincinnati, WHIO-TV (7) in Dayton and WKYT-TV (27) in Lexington, Ky.
“Our fans have made a tremendous response this week to our sales efforts, and we thank the entire community for its support of the Bengals,” said Katie Blackburn, the team’s executive vice-president. “We’re pleased that the game will be on television for everyone, and we look forward to the fans at Paul Brown Stadium giving us a great home field advantage for a very important game against Baltimore.”
The Baltimore game is a marquee NFL contest this weekend, moved to 4:15 p.m. from an original kickoff time of 1 p.m. to reach a wider television audience.
The Bengals can clinch a playoff spot with a victory, and Baltimore is out to claim a division championship and first-round playoff bye.

I am very, very pleased. My tactics worked again. I like becoming a billionaire on the backs of fools. My new years resolution is to become even more rich. Katie says Hi!

“Just enjoy this game for what it is.” Exactly. A group of multi-millionaires running around playing a kid’s game in a tax-payer funded stadium where Mike Brown collects all the profit and Ohioans pay all the expenses (while Hamilton County remains in a financial emergency). My weekend will be complete when this “sellout” blows up in Mike Brown’s face and the Bengals miss the playoffs yet again.

Sorry “If it’s Brown, Flush it Down!”, but the Bengals most likely make the playoffs. Even if they lose to BAL, they will probably get in, NYJ will lose at MIA and either DEN will lose to KC or OAK will lose to SD.

A sellout made up of Raven fans and free tickets to companies. Just like there last sellout against Pittsburgh. The Bungles will be at home in January this year watching the playoffs with all there gangsta buddies.

I will be watching the players butts and hoping they invite me to shower with them after. And I spelled “their” wrong, I’m kind of an idiot. The players will be at home with my mom and sister.

The Bengals are where they are because of one of the weakest schedules in the NFL. Take a look at the wins. Most are .500 and below. Look at the losses. Most are playoff teams. The Bengals can’t compete with playoff teams. It is apparent. It will be nice to hear Dave Laugh’em in the sober Bengals locker room after the game, searching for someone to talk to. Miss the days when he and Bradly Imsohansome squeeled like little girls during the game. Miss the dynamic duo on the radio. Allan Cutler needs to get another line besides “bad day to be a Bengal’s fan”. Gettin’ old Cutler. The Bengals are second tier at best. Always were a bargain basement run outfit.

Betting heavy on Ravens. Trying to make more money just like Mike Brown, the cheesy way. 9000 giveaways for 9,000 paid is a break even. No great gesture there.

Cheap ticket prices… Top 10 drafting since Marvin got here. Getting to the playoffs at least every 3rd year since Marvin got here. Making good trades. Dumping distractions and going religious. What will media have to talk about? I’ll have to hear about the indoor practice facility thing 24/7.

Weak schedule? It’s the same one that every AFC North team played. Do your homework. I love how ESPN and the national media are playing up 21 years and only 3 winning seasons rather than 3 of the last 7 years. Mocking Cincy for non-sellouts when the SD Chargers did the same thing all year. It’s classic: hate Cincy! Keep it up. Underdogs prevail.
