Rascal Flatts show at Nutter Center to be rescheduled

The Saturday, Feb. 6, Rascal Flatts concert at Wright State University’s Ervin J. Nutter Center has been postponed due to the weather for concert-goers’ safety.

Group spokesperson Ben Farrell said the event will be rescheduled and that “all tickets will be honored. (We are) working immediately to get a date which will be forthcoming as soon as the university and Rascal (Flatts) can work to meet each other’s schedules.”

Darius Rucker was scheduled to go on at 6:30 p.m., followed by the main attraction at 8.

This is the second time Rascal Flatts has had to reschedule a local appearance. In 2008, the band’s sold-out concert for Feb. 17 was postponed until May 10 due to illness.

They were in Michigan on friday. Those of you who are just worried about yourselves..they have to travel by bus. Do you really want to see them when they are that stressed out! The concert is at 6 on Saturday and people can leave early from their homes, but the band is coming from Michigan. The safety of the band is more important!

i went to my first and last concert at nutter center seceral years ago when george jones and tracy byrd was there.the intertainers did a fine job but the people who run that place are terrible.i was asking a usher a question about taking pics when i found myself surrounded by security. i very quickly sat back down and decided that was my last show at nutter

Stop whining! No one can control the weather, and NO concert is worth anyone’s life (or even an injury). This is best for all involved. Complaining doesn’t change that.

Their drummer was supposed to do a clinic at Hauer today but of course, that was cancelled too. When I called Hauer, they said it was rescheduled for Feb 28th.

Come on DDN! If you are going to print something, get your facts straight first. The CONCERT was supposed to START @ 8PM. Doors OPEN @ 6:30PM. Second, THE NUTTER CENTER DIDN’T POSTPONE THE CONCERT THE BAND’S REPS DID. When you work in the Ent. Industry you know these things.
